I was born to fight – shaped from steel, ignited by fire, and driven by purpose.

From the skies above Vietnam to the training grounds of Oregon, I brought warriors into battle and safely returned them home. I achieved my victories in missile trails and red stars painted on my frame – evidence of a Phantom’s courage and the expertise of those who flew and maintained me.

Now, I stand in solemn honor at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum – a guardian of history, a symbol of American airpower, and a voice from a time when the sky belonged to those bold enough to claim it.
